What are dermal fillers?

Our dermal filler treatment in Birmingham uses injectables made from the naturally occurring hyaluronic acid, most commonly used to fill lines and wrinkles, and add volume to areas such as the lips and cheeks.

Where can they be used?

Fillers can be used to sculpt or fill the cheeks, lips, chin, jawline, tear troughs, marionette lines, nasolabial folds, smoker’s lines, nose and more.

Can I have fillers in more than one area at once?

Yes! Many patients opt for several treatments at the same time. 

How long does it take?

How long do fillers last?

Are fillers safe?

What can I expect after the treatment?

Swelling and redness should go down after one or two days. Some patients may also experience raised or inflamed skin and itchiness in this time. You will also need to pause exercise for 24 hours after the procedure, however you can eat and carry on other normal activities. 

What’s the difference between fillers and anti-wrinkle injections?
