Celora Vita in Birmingham
Everything You Should Know:
Your skin is hungry. You can see it in the dullness that sets in by the afternoon, the moisturiser that never seems to be enough, and the fine lines that have started to linger. You’re not after fuller lips or a frozen forehead. You want your skin to look healthy again, and Celora Vita in Birmingham is here to feed it.
Think of Celora Vita™ as a protein facial that works from the inside out. From your late twenties, skin starts to run short of amino acids, the building blocks it uses to make collagen and elastin. Creams work on the surface. Celora Vita places nine amino acids and deeply hydrating hyaluronic acid within the skin itself, right where they’re needed.
There’s no added volume and no frozen look. Over a course of three sessions, tired, dehydrated skin can look fresher, feel firmer and get its glow back.
Celora Vita is now available at Dermoperfection, our CQC-registered, medically led clinic at The Mailbox in Birmingham city centre. Every course starts with a medical skin consultation, so you know it’s right for you before you commit. Book your consultation.

What Is Celora Vita, the Injectable Protein Facial?
Celora Vita is a CE-marked injectable treatment made by DermaFocus. We like to think of it as a protein facial, because it delivers amino acids, which your skin uses to build proteins such as collagen and elastin. However, it isn’t a facial in the usual sense. A cream or mask sits on the surface, whereas Celora Vita is placed within the skin by a clinician. It also works differently from a dermal filler or an anti-wrinkle injection. It doesn’t add volume or relax muscles. Instead, it nourishes the skin and improves its quality.
How Celora Vita Feeds Your Skin
Your skin needs protein to stay firm and smooth. Collagen and elastin are both proteins, and your skin builds them from amino acids. From our late twenties, however, skin slowly makes less of them. The cells that produce them, called fibroblasts, also run short of the amino acids they need. Consequently, skin can lose firmness, look dull and feel dry.
During treatment, we place Celora Vita into the upper layer of the skin with a series of tiny injections. This feeds your skin in two ways:
- Nine amino acids. These include glycine, proline, lysine, leucine and valine. They give fibroblasts the raw ingredients to make collagen and elastin.
- Low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. This draws water into the skin, so it feels hydrated and smooth without looking puffy.
Because the treatment feeds your skin’s own processes, results build gradually over the course.
H2: What Can Celora Vita Treat?
We may recommend Celora Vita in Birmingham if you are concerned about:
- Dull, tired-looking skin. It helps restore a healthy, natural glow.
- Dehydration and crepey texture. It hydrates from within to smooth fine surface crinkling.
- Loss of firmness and elasticity. It supports the skin’s collagen and elastin.
- Early fine lines. It softens them without affecting facial movement.
- Sun-damaged or stressed skin. It replenishes skin that has been depleted over time.
- Delicate areas. It can be used on the face, under-eye area and neck.
Not sure if it’s right for you? That is exactly what your consultation is for. We assess your skin properly and recommend the treatment most likely to meet your goals.
Your Treatment, Step by Step
1. Consultation
First, a clinician reviews your skin, medical history and goals. There is no separate consultation fee, and there is never any pressure to go ahead on the day. Read more about your consultation at Dermoperfection.
H3: 2. Treatment
Next, we cleanse the skin and can apply a numbing cream. We then give a series of small injections with an ultra-fine needle. The appointment takes 20 to 30 minutes.
H3: 3. Your course
A standard course is three sessions, around three weeks apart. This gives your skin time to respond between visits. Afterwards, we usually suggest a maintenance session once or twice a year.
Results and How Long They Last
- First 3 to 7 days: skin feels more hydrated, smoother and more radiant.
- Weeks 8 to 12: firmness, elasticity and fine lines continue to improve.
- 6 to 9 months: results typically last this long before a top-up is needed.
Celora Vita does not produce a sudden change. Instead, skin quality improves step by step, so you look refreshed and rested. Results vary from person to person. You can see real patient outcomes in our before and after gallery.
Safety, Side Effects and Aftercare
Celora Vita is a CE-marked medical device. The manufacturer reports that it was well tolerated in clinical evaluations. At Dermoperfection, it is only given by registered healthcare professionals, and you can meet the team before you book.
Common side effects
- Small bumps at the injection points, which usually settle within 24 to 48 hours
- Mild redness, tenderness or pin-prick bruising
Aftercare
For the first 24 hours, avoid touching or massaging the area. Also avoid make-up, saunas, hot tubs, strenuous exercise and alcohol. After that, wear a broad-spectrum SPF every day. You can find more advice on our aftercare page.
Who is it not suitable for?
Celora Vita is not suitable if you are under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding. It is also not suitable if you have an active skin infection in the treatment area. We check your medical history at consultation before any treatment.
