What Is Celora Vita? The Amino Acid Skin Booster

Celora Vita, An Introduction:

As part of our 4th Birthday celebrations we have joined forces with Dermafocus to bring you an event all about the latest in aesthetic advancements, Celora Vita.

Celora Vita, the new Protein Facial, and now you’re wondering: what is Celora Vita? In short, it is an injectable skin booster that feeds your skin the amino acids it uses to make collagen and elastin. Here, our clinicians explain how it works, who it suits and what to expect.

What Is Celora Vita Made Of?

Celora Vita combines two things:

  • Nine amino acids, including glycine, proline, lysine, leucine and valine
  • Low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, which carries the amino acids into the skin and adds hydration

It is a CE-marked medical device made by DermaFocus, a UK regenerative aesthetics company. You can read more on our Celora Vita skin booster brand page.

How Does It Work?

Collagen and elastin keep skin firm and springy. Your skin builds both from amino acids. From early adulthood, however, skin makes less collagen and elastin, and the amino acids it needs become harder to come by. As a result, skin can start to look dull, dry and less firm.

Celora Vita is placed into the upper layer of the skin with a series of tiny injections. There, it tops up those amino acids and draws in water. Because it works with your skin’s own processes, the change is gradual and natural-looking.

Is Celora Vita a Filler?

No. A dermal filler adds volume and shape. Celora Vita, by contrast, adds no volume at all. Instead, it improves the quality of the skin itself, so your features stay exactly as they are.

Who Is It For?

Celora Vita may suit you if your skin looks tired, dull or dehydrated, or if fine lines are starting to linger. It also suits people who want to look after their skin early. However, it isn’t suitable if you are under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have a skin infection in the area.

What Does Treatment Involve?

A standard course is three sessions, around three weeks apart. Each appointment takes 20 to 30 minutes. Afterwards, you may see small bumps or mild redness for a day or two. Most people notice better hydration first, then smoother, firmer skin as the course goes on.

Find Out If Celora Vita Is Right for You

Every course starts with a medical skin consultation, and there’s no pressure to go ahead. See our Celora Vita in Birmingham page for full details, or book your consultation at our Birmingham city centre clinic in The Mailbox.
